A basic installation of a sky@night
ceiling can be performed easily by a competent home handyman or we can
recommend a qualified tradesman in your area. As each panel
is
a fully finished, prefabricated product, an average room (3m x 4m)
can
usually be installed in 4-5 hours without mess from drilling or
painting. The components required can be selected from our
specification summary or our downloadable brochure.
Obviously, care should be taken not to obscure or impede the operation of smoke detectors, ducts or security devices. If being retrofitted below an existing ceiling, all service devices and outlets can be fitted to the StarPanels. ScreenScience can also flock coat air-con grills and ceiling speaker covers for a nominal cost.
ScreenScience also would like to remind clients that ALL wiring work to mains electricity must be peformed by a suitably licensed electrical contractor. For custom installations where panel modification, building work or wiring will be required, please contact one of our dealers to arrange a quotation for your premises.
