Digital White is Screen Science's highest gain screen surface designed for light controlled rooms (ie: you are able to darken the room at will with heavy curtains or blinds), or where viewing will mainly occur at night.   For rooms where ambient light is unavoidable, please consider our Digital Grey screen surface.

Standard matte white fabric/PVC surfaces are typically less efficient at reflecting back the image. On most of them you can clearly see the image shining through the material. The bright, white surface of Digital White efficiently reflects the image back to the audience offering a high gain of 1.4 - 40% brighter than the industry standard 1.0 matte screen.

A brighter image resolves more image detail, allows a bigger picture to be projected and alternatively (depending on your projector hardware), allows a more economical lamp power setting to be employed.

Screen Science's 'Digital White' coated rigid screens offer  a 160 degree viewing angle with accurate colour reproduction. They feature integrated ready-to-mount fixing mechanisms, lightweight construction and an elegant, 40mm black aluminium or black velour (optional) frame.

Digital White vs standard matte white
Digital Pearl White  - higher gain increases brightness, image resolution and shadow detail. Special coatings increase perceived contrast. Standard Matte White   - gain of 1.0 creates a dull image relative to a specifically designed digital white projector  screen.
